Medellín drew traders from around the world for the Stocks Trading Summit - days of live trading and lessons with Tim Sykes, Edu Trades, Sang Lucci and others. But what we saw beyond the venue hit different.

At the Altos de la Torre campus, a local school had one dream: to tear down the walls of a crumbling classroom and build something better.

So we did. Working with Fundación Solidaridad por Colombia, the SageTrader Foundation helped rebuild it into a bright, interactive classroom powered by solar energy - room for 50+ students every term, built for learning, sustainability and long-term impact.

From trading desks to school desks: a completed project, and the first of many.

Her name is Boon Lom. For more than 35 years she lived in chains ridden, abused, blind in one eye from a bullhook, and made to watch as all three of her calves were taken from her.

When Tim Sykes chose to mark his birthday with a Karmagawa elephant rescue, the SageTrader Foundation joined the campaign alongside Lek Chailert and Elephant Nature Park, and Aaron of Planting Peace. After a 24-hour journey, the 45-year-old arrived at Elephant Nature Park, where she will never be ridden, chained or abused again - free for the rest of her years.
